Hi We
need some technical assistance with ASPOSE.CELLS component we are using
to generate reports in our application. In the recent past we noticed
the application went down with Out of Memory Exception. As we analyzed,
we found that it could be because of the ASPOSE component that is used
to generate reports with dynamic formatting. Some of the KB articles
also suggested the version 4.4.0.0 we use has issues with memory
usage.So can I request you to advise us what is the best way to go
around this problem? Will the higher version provide permanent fix to
the memory issues. Also, we have purchased the current version
ASPOSE.CELLS 4.4.0.0. If we need to upgrade, will that incur additional
cost?

Well, you should try to use our new versions (especially v4.8.0.x) in which we have enhanced the performance a bit more.

Well, I think your subscription might not allow to use the latest version (please check your license file, you may open your license file into notepad and check the Expiry Date of your subscription). You need upgrade your subscription to use the latest version of the product.
If using the latest version, you still find the problem, kindly create a simple project to post it here, we will check it soon.
Thank you for replying to the below post. We're
specifically looking resolution for memory usage issues, so it would be helpful
if you confirm the higher version would actually solve the issue. Otherwise we
will end up with the same issue in spite having the higher version.
If you have any other pointers to go around this
issues, please let me know and it would of great help!

Please try the attached version v4.8.0.7 in which we have enhanced the
performance a bit and the memory consumption would be reduced. I think
you may add reference to this fix (remove the older reference) and
comment out the licensing code in your project and simply check to see
if the issue is resolved or not. If the issue is resolved, you can
upgrade your subscription then.
Thanks for your response. The version v4.8.0.7 seems to have fixed memory issue based on our tests. Are there any other latest versions that still have the better memory management? If not, can you advise how much does this cost and if we are already having an older version, would there be a reduction in the cost?
Well, you may try our latest version / Fix attached and check if it further enhance the performance regarding memory consumption in your application.
