We are running into garbage collection issues with a particular excel file when converting using Aspose Cells. We are currently setting the MEMORY_PREFERENCE load option, but the Aspose documentation doesn’t provide a very detailed description of what this flag actually does. Would someone be able to provide a more detailed description of the difference between the 2 options (NORMAL and MEMORY_PREFERENCE)? In particular, is one option better when trying to avoid out of memory issues?

Well, MEMORY_PREFERENCE load option would be useful when you are reading a huge file, see the document for your reference. If you are not using a big file or does not add long list of data/contents, you may skip it. See the document for your reference:
