Metered license in pre production

Hi Team,
My company has bought metered license recently and we are trying to make best usage of the license. To reduce the usage of metered license we are planning on activating license only in production environment. Are there any drawbacks to this approach?

I believe the application falls back to evaluation version if license is not activated. What does that mean for the application. Are all the features still available in evaluation version?

There are no drawbacks if you use license in production environment.

Please note that in evaluation mode there are some limitations applied. E.g. Aspose.Words injects an evaluation watermark at the top of the document. The document’s content are truncated after a certain number of paragraphs during import or export.
