MS Word 2019 features handling by Aspose Word 15.11.0 for Java

We are currently bulk generating Word doc/docx for field merging by Aspose Word 15.11.0 for Java well, and planning to upgrade our PC’s MS Office 2013 to 2019.

We concern whether the version 15.11.0 of Aspose Word will remove the 2019 features of a docx updated by MS Office 2019 in the followings procedures:

  1. Aspose Word loads a DOCX template with MS Office 2019 features
  2. Append data to the loaded template
  3. Save the updated template as an output

@xirir82162 The version of Aspose.Words you are using is quite old and it was released almost 4 year before MS Word 2019 was released. So there might be features, which were not implemented. However, OOXML Specification is not changed much, so most of features should be preserved.
Of course, I would suggest you to update to the latest 22.7 version of Aspose.Words for Java.
