Hello,
Cells.FileFormatType.MsEquation Objects which will be detected by Cells.FileFormatUtil.DetectFileFormat, what’s their usual file extension?

MsEquation file type is a binary file, and file extension is bin.

Thanks so much, just one more query about Cells.FileFormatType.Ole10Native if you don’t mind please?
What’s Ole10Native indeed? And what’s the extension? :slight_smile:

Both MsEquation and Ole10Native are not public file formats, they are internal file formats in MS Office.
They are used for Oleobject.(In MS Excel, Insert—> Object)
If you insert a file as oleobject which MS office could not directly open, it will be packed as Ole10Native file.

So they do not have specific extensions,just end with “.bin”.
