Need Confirmation for using Evaluation Version

Hi,

We were using the Aspose cells Java evaluation version for our conversion of XLSX files to ODS files in Java. Please ensure us that we can use the evaluation version without limitation on time period. Have already went through the limitations of the evaluation version and understood that it has 2 limitations of processing only 100 open documents at a time and an addition sheet with signature. Please confirm us that we can use the evaluation version of Aspose cells with the above limitations but without any limitation in time period.

Thanks for your query.

Yes, your understanding is correct, these are the two main limitations. There is no restriction on time period. Furthermore, there can be a few features/APIs (e.g activating sheets or cells, etc.) which will only work with a valid license. It is best you use temporary license for 30 days to evaluate the product in its full capacity and without any restriction. If you would also like an evaluation license to test without any restrictions for 30 days, please follow the directions provided here.

Yes, you can use it however without license all the limitations mentioned here will be implemented. As mentioned above, there is no restriction on time period.

For your information, Evaluation versions (without a valid license) are used for testing purpose only. Aspose products (without license or evaluation versions) won’t be allowed to be used commercially, so you might not use it in production environment if you do not have valid license.
