Hello,
we’re currently developing a big customer application. For this we want to use Aspose.Words for Java.
Unfortunately we’re waiting for an update/new version for several month now. (see Nested mail merge in the java version of aspose.word)
Based on your information this version will provide the usage of nested mail merge regions as well as writing pdf output into the output stream.
Could you please tell me, when we can expect this new version?
You signalized a (non beta-) version including this functions for May or June. Now it’s the beginning of august…
We need this functions for our application and the development shall be finished soon. Without this functions we can’t order licences of Aspose.Words and have to look for alternatives. But we don’t prefer this “option”…
Thanks for your inquiry. The next version of Aspose.Words for Java (non-beta) is scheduled on mid or second half of August. We will let you know once it comes out.
Best regards,
Thanks for your request. Currently we are still working on synchronizing Java and .NET versions of Aspose.Words. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of porting from .NET to Java process the release data was postponed. As Alexey mentioned new release will come out somewhere in the mid of August. And yes supporting this feature is scheduled to this release. Sorry for inconvenience.
Best regards,
We are blocked on this same issue. It sounds like this was scheduled for an August release and since we are now in the middle of November, I was wondering if the nested mail merge capability is available at this time, and if so, if you could please let me know which version of Aspose.Words for Java it is available in?
Hi Frank,
Thanks for your inquiry and sorry for inconvenience. This feature will be available in 10.0.0 version of Aspose.Words for Java. As I already mentioned this will be the first fully synchronized with .NET version of Aspose.Words.
