.NET 10.0

Is it already known when .NET 10.0 support for Aspose-Nuget packages will be available?

@ckoster

Summary
There is no publicly announced date for when Aspose .NET NuGet packages will officially support .NET 10.0.

Why it happens
The available documentation and release notes for Aspose .NET libraries do not currently mention .NET 10.0 compatibility, so the information is not confirmed yet.

What to do next

  1. Check Aspose’s official roadmap and release notes – Look for any mention of .NET 10.0 support on the product pages or in the latest announcements.
  2. Test with a .NET 10.0 preview – Install the latest .NET 10.0 SDK (preview) and create a minimal project:
dotnet new console -f net10.0 -n TestAspose
cd TestAspose
dotnet add package Aspose.Words # or the Aspose package you need
dotnet run

If the package restores and builds, it may already be compatible; otherwise you’ll see a compatibility error.
3. Inspect the NuGet package metadata – Download the latest .nupkg for the Aspose product you’re interested in, open the .nuspec file, and look for <TargetFramework> entries. Presence of net10.0 indicates support.
4. Contact Aspose support – If the above steps don’t give a clear answer, open a support request with Aspose to ask about the expected timeline for .NET 10.0 compatibility.

These steps will help you determine the current status and obtain the most accurate information regarding future .NET 10.0 support.

:warning: I could not fully verify this explanation against the retrieved sources. Please double-check the behaviour in your environment and confirm the exact SDK/version.

@ckoster,

Microsoft has recently announced the official release of .NET 10. We will soon begin the development and testing of Aspose APIs under .NET 10 and plan to provide support for it in our future versions.

Regarding Aspose.Cells, we have already logged a ticket with the ID “CELLSNET-59396” to incorporate .NET 10 support in upcoming Aspose.Cells releases. We are optimistic that this support will be included in either the 25.12 or 26.1 release. In the meantime, you are welcome to try the Aspose.Cells.Dll compiled for .NET 9.0, available in the release archive, for your .NET 10.x projects.

As for other Aspose (.NET) APIs, such as Aspose.Words, Aspose.PDF, Aspose.Slides, Aspose.Email, and others, my colleagues will respond to you shortly with updates. Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let us know which specific Aspose (.NET) APIs you are currently using. This information will help us log the necessary tickets to ensure .NET 10 support for the respective APIs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
