.NET Core Word to PDF conversion. Document with .tiff images

When using Aspose.Words on .net core 2.1 to convert a word document to PDF, and the document has .tiff images. Black squares are being rendered over the top of the images (or perhaps instead of the images? it’s hard to know)

To ensure a timely and accurate response, please attach the following resources here for testing:

  • Your input Word document.
  • Please attach the output PDF file that shows the undesired behavior.
  • Please create a standalone console application ( source code without compilation errors ) that helps us to reproduce your problem on our end and attach it here for testing.

As soon as you get these pieces of information ready, we will start investigation into your issue and provide you more information. Thanks for your cooperation.

PS: To attach these resources, please zip and upload them.

Program.zip (3.2 MB)

Attached. You can see in “oldone.docx” a document containing an image, and the generated pdf “oldone.pdf” where there is a black rectangle over the top of the image. It appears to be an issue only for .tiff files (or those you identify as “unknown” and only in .netcore.

@RSCAlan

We have tested the scenario using the latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET 19.4 and have not found the shared issue. Please check the attached output PDF. 19.4.pdf (45.0 KB)

We suggest you please get the temporary license and apply it before converting document to PDF.

If you still face problem, please share the operating system detail where you are converting document to PDF. We will investigate this issue further and provide you more information on it.

Hi, we’re already using a full license, I just didn’t want to provide the details in a .zip file on a public forum :).

I’m using Windows 10 and the application is using .net core 2.2
