New PDF Engine throwing exceptions and poor rendering

I’ve just dropped 2.9.0.0 into my application, PDF rendering worked with a simple presentation but I’ve recieved the exceptions shown below in the first couple of presentations I’ve tried to generate (can generate as PPT ok). I think that the second slide on generated.zip is causing an exception.

Also, if you can generate the first slide in generated.zip you’ll see the the rendering is really poor and not at a standard suitable for use. Rendering.zip contains another example of rendering problems. It’s disapointing to have waited for the new PDF engine to discover that it is of no more use to my application than the old one, I’ve only tried a few presentations and they have mostly thrown errors or have rendering issues.

Thanks

Hello,

Please check short list of known issues here.
As I wrote in this post new engine has problems with
rendering metafiles yet but everything will be fixed soon.

In case all your presentations have metafiles please wait
little more or use previous versions of Aspose.Slides.
