No XML documentation file for .NET 4 build

Hi,

the download file “Aspose.Cells for .NET 8.8.0 (DLLs only)” (http://www.aspose.com/downloads/cells-family/net/new-releases/-aspose.cells-for-.net-8.8.0-(dlls-only)/ ) contains no “Aspose.Cells.xml” file for .NET 4.0 build, but for all other framework versions.
Is it the same as for the other framework versions, or are there API differences in the different builds?

Hi,


Yes, there would be no .xml file provided in “Bin\net4.0” folder at your installation directory. The .xml file is an APIs description file which are shipped with assembly, you may use an .xml file in “Bin/net3.5xxxx” folder.

Could you add the .NET 4 xml file to the zip? This would avoid future confusion.

Please try our latest version/ fix: Aspose.Cells for .NET v8.8.0.2 (.Net4.0), we have added relevant XML file with .NET framework 4.0 compiled assembly of Aspose.Cells for .NET.
