Not able to copy one cell data to multiple cells at once

Hi,

We are not able to copy the one cell data to multiple cells as we can do in Microsoft Excel. For example after I copy the one cell data, by selecting 4 cells and by click on paste it is pasting only on first cell instead of 4 cells.

PFA the sample code for the same.

Could you please help us solving the issue asap.

Thanks for your posting and using Aspose.Cells for GridWeb.

Well, this feature is not supported and we cannot support it in near future as this is a complex feature. Thanks for your understanding.

It is working fine with 2.5.1.2001 version Aspose.Cells.GridWeb.dll, not working with 2.7.19.2000 version Aspose.Cells.GridWeb.dll.

PFA the sameple code where it is working by using 2.5.1.2001 version Aspose.Cells.GridWeb.dll.

Let us know this feature is removed from 2.7.19.2000 version Aspose.Cells.GridWeb.dll or we have to do any changes for latest version.

We have run your project and found copy/paste functionality is not there. Could you provide screenshots to test this issue. It will help us look into your issue precisely and we will be able to help you.

By using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, we are able to copy data from one cell to multiple cells with the Gridweb 2.5.1.2001 version.

Let us know how can we get this feature with the latest version Gridweb control.

You are using quite older version of Aspose.Cells for GridWeb.

Could you please download the latest version from the major version: Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.5.1 and try it with the given acwmain.js file

I downloaded the new version, but still I am getting same error.

When we tried with the new acwmain.js file which provided by you in the above URL the following items are fixed

1) backspace issue

2)one cell to multiple cell copy

Hi,

It is working fine if we select the cells with shift key. But when we select the cells with mouse and trying to paste by using Cntrl+V, data is not pasting and it is working fine with Mouse Right Click past option.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Step1: copy some content

Step2: select some cells by using mouse

Step3: try to paste the content by using “ctrl + v” from keyboard, it is not pasting the copied content.

Could you please the issue asap.

It is to inform you that mouse selection is not supported right now. Please use shift key selection for your needs.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as CELLSNET-41882) have been fixed in this update.
