Can your ocr accept any other filetype other then bmp or tif? Also is it possible for your software to accept a stream from a database, ocr that stream, then writer back to the database as a stream.

At the moment, Aspose.OCR for .NET supports BMP and TIFF only. A new issue to support other file types has been logged into our issue tracking system as OCR-33137. We will keep you updated on this issue in this thread.
OcrEngine.Image accepts image stream so you can extract OCR text from image stream and then write the stream back to database. Please check the documentation https://docs.aspose.com/ocr/net/developer-reference/ for more details and feel free to contact us in case you have further comments or questions.
