OLE excel embbed object error after upgrade

Hi,

We did the upgrade Aspose Cell 7.1.2 to 7.5.3
and Slides 2.8.2 to 7.7.0.

We generating excel work book using Aspose Cell and then embed the Excel OLE in our slide that generated by Aspose Slide also.

It worked fine before the upgrade. After upgrade when click on the slide to access the OLE we got this error "PowerPoint found error that it can’t correct. You should save presentation, quit, and then restart PowerPoint."

Please help me with this issue,

Much Thanks

Hi Hong,

I have observed the scenario shared by you and have observed the specified message in the shared PowerPoint file. I suggest you to please first try using Aspose.Slides for Java 7.9.0 on your end with latest version of Aspose.Cells. If there is still an issue then please share the sample source presentation, sample excel file and sample code used on your end to reproduce the issue. I will investigate it on my end to help you further in this regard ASAP.

Many Thanks,

Hi Mudassir,

Thanks for your reply. I did upgrade to the newest version of Aspose.
Slides 7.9.0 and Cells 7.6.0. And the problem is still there.

More over, when I down graded Aspose to Slides 2.8.2 and Cells 7.1.2.
The OLE object worked as expected.

I attached source code and output files.

Much Thanks for your help.
Hong

Hi Mudassir,

Thank for your reply.
It’s very helpful if you can tell me what is the priority for this issue to be fixed.
What is the time frame should I expect to have a fix, like days, weeks, or months.

We’ll have our application delivery soon,
and I need to decide if I should wait a little more for the fix, or roll back to the older Aspose version.

Thanks and appreciate any info.
