OMR Add margin

The user altered the generated pdf with the bubbles, and of course the engine does not recognize the elements as they are not at the configured position, is there anything I can do to help them?

Is there an option to add margins to the template and re-generate the omr file?

@joelweber

Can you please share your sample files along with the sample code snippet that you have used? We will test the scenario in our environment and address it accordingly.

Hi,

see attached the files
55Q Issue.zip (1.9 MB)
Grid55.omr and Grid55.pdf is the original files, test scan_0001.jpg is the altered file what we try to make work.

Thanks

Hi,

Is there any update on my case?

Thanks

@joelweber

We are afraid that the earlier logged ticket has not been yet resolved. We will look into it on first come first serve basis and as soon as it is resolved. We will let you know. Please spare us some time.

@joelweber

We have been working over investigating the earlier logged ticket. Provided file (test scan_0001.jpg) is scanned image with white margins etc.

Can you please provide source image (not scanned image? A source image file with proper positioning will greatly increase .omr file and recognition result.

Hi,

See attached
grid large bechina22 (1).pdf (1.2 MB)

Thanks

@joelweber

Thanks for providing the file. We will now continue our investigation and let you know once the ticket is resolved.

@joelweber

It looks like provided template generated from another program - Reference Points are not similar.

We tried to create new template from provided file. It will be recognizable by our program.

If you have 9000+ scanned images it will not help you. If you are at stage of creating template - you can replace it with ours. New Template.zip (2.0 MB)

This is new template image and .omr file for it. You can print fill and recognize it with our software.

There is 4 Reference Points - so you have to use any version before 22.8

Hi,

Thanks for the new template, is there any tool I can do the same, to create a template from a file?

Thanks

@joelweber

You can please check the API documentation and guide on how to generate OMR template. In case you face any issues, please let us know.
