I’ve found an OMR library for Java, but couldn’t find any example code of how to use it: Aspose-OMR.
Is this project still up to date?

I want to create OMR barcodes for mailing documents with variable page counts. The barcodes are used to ensure that the documents are separated correctly and fed into envelopes by Folding and Inserting Systems.

Aspose.OMR for Java was discontinued some times ago. We now only offer it as a cloud product, so only clould version is available, see the product family page:

so you may try your desired SDK for your environment and language and browse its documentation for reference.
