OMR under Android app

Hi Aspose team,

I’m planning to develop an OMR mobile app, the objective of that app it to take a picture using the device camera and then run the recognition process over the image (based on a arm template) and then get the result. One of the main features is that the process to get the result should be done by the device, I mean, is not an option to have a backend service to get the result (application will be working offline).

Is that possible with the Java OCR Java api?

Regards.

@jgreyna.mx ,

Thank you for considering Aspose products.

I am afraid, the Aspose.OCR/OMR product family currently does not offer a dedicated API to be used in Android environment. We already have this feature on our road map but we haven’t yet schedule the release. I will get back to you shortly with an estimated release schedule of Aspose.OCR for Android.

However, Aspose.OCR for Java can work with OMR templates just fine. If you would like to give the API a try on your end, we would suggest you to go through the Programmer’s Guide for your reference.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
