Open eml file in edit mode for IBM Notes and ThunderBird

Hi ,

I want to create an email file with .eml format so that when I open that eml file, it opens up in edit mode in IBM Notes and ThunderBird. What happens right now is that the eml files open up where I can’ edit the sender , receiver or the subject/body of the eml message… There is no send button. I have to go in and click on create as new mesasge . Is there any flag to make the email message open up as if i was creating the email message to be sent ?

@chandankpgreen4,

Thank you for writing to Aspose Support team.

We have tried different scenarios for saving the EML so that Thunderbird can open it as draft, but it seems this is not possible. The X-Unsent flag set in EML is only understandable by MS Outlook. We also noticed that EML files can’t be saved as unsent using Thunderbird. Please share if you know how to save it as draft using Thunderbird for further consideration at our end.
