Hi

Is it possible to start numbering pages
starting from a specific page?

For example, I have a word document which
is a book with the following structure.

page 1 is the cover image,
Page 2 is the copyright page
Page 3 is forward (front matter) page
page 4 is the Table of Contents
Page 5 is Chapter 1 (First page of Content)

So I would like to start numbering the pages starting on Page 5.
Is this possible?

Thanks for your inquiry. You need to place Chapter 1 in a separate Section. In this case, you can use PageSetup.RestartPageNumbering property to specify if page numbering restarts at the beginning of the section. You can also use PageSetup.PageStartingNumber property in conjunction with above property to set the starting page number of the section.
