I want to know how to keep the formated paging I've got in a docx document when I convert it to pdf. I havent done much research, but I guess I see it as one of those basic things that really should work...

I was able to reproduce the error. I found that page numbers are not set in the intermediate xml file which is genereated by Aspose.Words when converting docx to pdf. From xml to pdf part, it seems work fine. I have reported it to our coopertor Aspose.Words team. They will give you a reply soon.

This was suggested to be a defect in Aspose.Words and logged as #4391 in our defect database. We’ll investigate it and notify you here in the thread when it is fixed or some information is available.
As a workaround you can try re-saving your document in MS Word with different name as DOCX or as DOC. I’m attaching such a re-saved document which doesn’t loose page numbering after conversion.
