Password Protected Rtf

I am processing rtf file using aspose.words. Actually, I have a pwd protected rtf file and it need a password to open in microsoft word. But when I use the same pwd protected rtf file to open using aspose without providing any password, it doesn’t throws any exception: exception such as invalidpasswordexception or sth similar to it. Does it mean aspose always process encrypted rtf file even without requiring password? I am using aspose version 20.1 at this moment.
