Hello!
I want to produce pdf files, which conform to both “PDF/A-1a” and “PDF/UA” standard.
But after the conversion of a pdf file from PDF/A-1a to PDF/UA:
document.convert(new PdfFormatConversionOptions(PdfFormat.PDF_UA_1, ConvertErrorAction.Delete));
Adobe Acrobat shows, that the resulting pdf only conforms to the “PDF/UA” standard.
This is the pdf after the conversion to PDF/UA: dokument.pdf (74.3 KB)
How is it possible to create pdfs that support both Standards?
As the attached file about the matterhorn protocol (found at The Matterhorn Protocol 1.1 – PDF Association) shows it: MatterhornProtocol_1-02.pdf (340.0 KB)
Kind regards!
@dvtdaten
We have gone through your requirements and it seems like they need to be further investigated for their feasibility using Aspose.PDF. Therefore, an investigation ticket as PDFJAVA-39788 has been logged in our automatic issue tracking system. We will investigate the possibility of required feature and let you know as soon as we have some updates in this regard. Please be patient and spare us some time.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello @asad.ali and @dvtdaten!
Are there any updates on this topic? I would highly appreciate if you could tell me if this double standard conversion is now available.
Kind Regards.
@Natalia.Martinez
We are afraid that the earlier logged ticket has not been yet resolved. The feature is not yet implemented due to other tasks logged prior to it. However, we will surely update you in this forum thread as soon as the requested feature is available. Please spare us some time.
