PDA/A-1a to PDF/UA Conversion question

Hello!

I want to produce pdf files, which conform to both “PDF/A-1a” and “PDF/UA” standard.

But after the conversion of a pdf file from PDF/A-1a to PDF/UA:

document.convert(new PdfFormatConversionOptions(PdfFormat.PDF_UA_1, ConvertErrorAction.Delete));

Adobe Acrobat shows, that the resulting pdf only conforms to the “PDF/UA” standard.

This is the pdf after the conversion to PDF/UA: dokument.pdf (74.3 KB)

How is it possible to create pdfs that support both Standards?
As the attached file about the matterhorn protocol (found at https://www.pdfa.org/resource/the-matterhorn-protocol-1-02/) shows it: MatterhornProtocol_1-02.pdf (340.0 KB)

Kind regards!

@dvtdaten

Hello @asad.ali and @dvtdaten!

Are there any updates on this topic? I would highly appreciate if you could tell me if this double standard conversion is now available.

Kind Regards.

@Natalia.Martinez
