PDF A1/a Format

Hi,

We wonder if ASPOSE can do the following:

For our webservice we need to collect data and generate PDF documents of it. Our intention is to use reporting services and convert the document using ASPOSE.PDF for reporting services. However, the PDF file needs be of typee PDF/A1-a.

Does ASPOSE allow this? Because the documentation says it only supports A1b. However, the table in this documentation shows an option to store it to A1a.

If so, how does it handle meta tags? These also need to be validated for type A1a. Is there any other solution to create A1a documents?

Thanks in advance, Dennis Klop

Hello Dennis,

Thanks for considering Aspose.

I am pleased to inform you that Aspose.Pdf for SSRS supports two output formats PdfA1A and PdfA1B. For more related information, please check PDF Conformance.

You can also handle XMP Metadata while generating the PDF document. For more related information, please visit XMP Metadata

Besides this, we have a component named Aspose.Pdf which offers the capability to generate PDF documents from scratch. You can use its API, convert an Image file into PDF format or even you can transform an XML or XSL-FO file into PDF format. It also supports the feature to generate a PDF/A compliant document. For more related information, please visit Product Information and How to create PDF/A-1 with Aspose.Pdf

In case it does not satisfy your requirement or you have any further query, please feel free to contact.
