PDF Alignment and styling issues after upgrading from 17.2.0 to 22.8.0

When upgrading Aspose.PDF from 17.2.0 (.NET Framework) to 22.8.0 (.NET Standard) all the alignments and styling has gone out of place. Spaces have changed, font gaps etc. Was wondering what has caused this change and in what version this happened? Thanks

hi @sm708731,

To ensure a timely and accurate response, please attach the following resources here for testing:

Your input PDF document and fonts used in your PDF.
Please attach the output PDF file that shows the undesired behavior.
Please attach the expected output PDF file that shows the desired behavior.

As soon as you get these pieces of information ready, we will start investigation into your issue and provide you more information. Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi @mlyra thanks for your response. Would these attachments be secure here (not be able to be seen by anybody else?) or should I message/email them across? Thanks

HI @sm708731 ,
The attachments will be safe. Only authorized Aspose personnel will be able to handle it for support purposes. If you feel more comfortable, you can obfuscate any sensitive information in your files.

Hi @mlyra please see attached files. After further investigation it seems most of the issues happen when upgrading Apose.Words to 21.11 onwards. So I have attached the input HTML file we use to then generate the PDF with the desired and undesired PDF outcomes. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thank you

Hi @mlyra - was just wondering if there was any kind of update regarding this? thanks

@sm708731

Hi, I will have to open a ticket for the development team. As soon as we have an answer I will let you know.

Hi @mlyra just to give an update which may help with the ticket. We have discovered that amending some of the CSS in our HTML files has corrected some of the issues. In the example sent, setting the margin-top to be 8pt for the ul and ol has set the margins back to how they were. Thanks

HI @sm708731

I have create an issue for our internal team PDFNET-52743 and attached it to this issue. You will be informed as soon as Aspose delivers a solution for this issue.
