PDF file saved from DOCX source fails Acrobat Preflight syntax test

Attached is a DOCX file called Preflight.docx, a PDF created using Aspose’s SaveToPDF method called Preflight.PDF and a Preflight.jpg file that illustrates the problem. The problem is this. When I use Aspose to save this DOCX as a PDF, the resulting PDF file fails Adobe Acrobat 9’s PreFlight syntax check. I discovered this when I experienced issues working with the PDF using other PDF utilities.
The DOCX file I’m using here is the same DOCX file I used to illustrate an issue in which characters in text fields in Word are truncated when converted to PDF. I do not know if the two issues are related (I assume they are not).
What can be done to prevent this problem and create properly formatted PDFs?
Thanks.
