PDF Form Fill for Decimals Not Using Correct Precision

I have a PDF form created in Adobe Designer that has several Decimal / Float fields defined with a display pattern of “ZZZ9.99”. When using Aspose to fill the PDF in and save it out, the values do not display with two decimal places if they didn’t already have 2 significant digits to the right of the decimal already. It appears Aspose is not reading the Display Pattern property of the fields. Is that true? If so, is there another way to accomplish this?


Thank you for your help. I’ve attached a Console application that reproduces the problem if that helps. I have ommitted the Aspose.Pdf and Aspose.Pdf.Kit assemblies from the zip file. I was using the 4.0 and 3.5 versions respectively.

This problem has been reproduced at our end. Frankly, this feature is not provided in our product. We are considering to add this feature in next release. It will be handled ASAP. We will appreciate your patience, and the ETA is about 3 weeks. Once it finished, I will inform you at this thread.

Hi Mark,

This issue is resolved in the attached hotfix; this hotfix will be included in our next release. Please download the attached DLL and use it with your application; you only need to replace the existing DLL and add the reference to this one.
