PDF Functionality question

Hello,

I am looking for suitable .NET PDF/FDK component library to replace the Adobe FDF ActiveX toolkit we are currently using. I would like to know if this product will work for us. Basically, we have word documents that are created in different languages with spaces areas on them for data to be filled in. These are saved as pdf files and then edited with Adobe Pro to add the Adobe form fields. The data for these form fields was captured via a web page and stored in an Oracle database. When the user wants to display the pdf, the data from the database is merged with the pdf (in the correct fields) and then shown to the user.

Will this product do that?

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in our products.

I am pleased to share that Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports the feature to add form fields in existing PDF files and it also offers the capability to fill data inside existing form fields. Please visit the following link for related information on

Do you have to save the “filled in” pdf file to disk or can you just display it in the browser?

Hi,

You can either save the output over system or save it to Stream object. Once the output is saved to Stream object, you can render the output in Web browser. Please take a look over online example for related information.
