What about the PDF support in Aspose.Words C++? can I simply use Aspose.Words to extract text from PDF?

@yonish Unfortunately, Aspose.Words for C++ does not support loading PDF documents. This feature is only supported in .NET 4.6.1, .NET Standard 2.0, .NET6 and Python versions of Aspose.Words. This feature request is logged as WORDSCPP-1193. We will keep you informed and let you know once it is available.
