PDF2XML conversion

Hi all,

Today I tried the trial version of Aspose.pdf.

I want to use this product to convert PDF files to xml files.

When I run the example I get a small xml file with a link to a png file.

This png file shows the data from the original PDF. In my opinion this is not a conversion.

This way I cannot use Aspose.pdf as a converter to xml.

Am I the only one with this Problem or is there something that I miss?

Hi Bert,

Thanks for sharing the sample document. I have tested the scenario and notice it is expected result as source document(input.pdf) is a scanned PDF without any text but a single image.

Hi Bert,

Adding more to Tilal’s comments, as your input document contains image or text appears to be in background, so in order to accomplish your requirements, you can Convert PDF Pages to JPEG Images and then try Performing OCR on an Image.
