Can anyone assist on a small problem I have please.
I've created a PivotTable but want to replicate the "[Sigma] Values" (Months) column that is automatically generated in Excel (in the Column Labels).
I've created a PivotTable but want to replicate the "[Sigma] Values" (Months) column that is automatically generated in Excel (in the Column Labels).
My data has hundreds of rows, each with a unique DateField. I want to count rows in month columns. When I add DateField to the Pivot table's columns, I get hundreds of columns. I have attached a small example.
But I want them collapsed by month like happens when you are using Excel on the desktop. If I drop DateField into the columns section on the desktop, the Months field is automatically generated.
