I’ve noticed that there is an option to export OBJ files as point clouds.

Is there anything on the roadmap to support input files of any of the below file types for LIDAR / pointcloud data:

  • e57
  • las
  • laz
  • xyz
  • pts

Just noticed - looks like XYZ files are supported. Looking to keep the RGB values though.

EDIT - nevermind, doesn’t look like XYZ files can be imported

We’ll include new type support based on user demand, following a first-come, first-served approach. Previously, these specific types weren’t requested, but given your interest, we’ll incorporate them into our roadmap. However, at present, there’s no estimated timeframe for fulfilling these requests.
