Pom.xml references dead EULA URL

The Aspose.Words Maven artifact pom.xml still references the outdated EULA URL https://company.aspose.com/legal/eula, whose DNS entry no longer exists. This breaks automated tooling (such as license-maven-plugin) that aggregates third‑party license texts based on the license URL declared in the POM. The expected result is that the POM should reference a valid, working, and stable URL for the Aspose.Words EULA (or official license page) so that automated tools can reliably retrieve the license text.

<licenses>
  <license>
    <name>Aspose EULA</name>
    <url>https://company.aspose.com/legal/eula</url>
  </license>
</licenses>

@bcornelius

You’re seeing that the Aspose.Words Maven POM currently contains a dead EULA URL:

<license>
 <name>Aspose EULA</name>
 <url></url>
</license>

This URL no longer resolves [1]. The POM does not provide an alternative, working link to the Aspose.Words EULA or license page.

What you can do

  1. Raise the issue on the Aspose forum (the thread you referenced) so the artifact can be updated with a valid URL.
  2. In the meantime, if your build tools require a reachable license URL, you can override the <license> entry in your own pom.xml with a temporary, accessible page that contains the EULA text.
  3. Once Aspose publishes the correct URL, replace the temporary one with the official link.
