PPT and PPTX issues

Hi Sachin,

Thank you for the files.

I am testing your newly reported issues and will get back to you soon.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Sachin,

Thank you for being patient.

Following issues are reproduced and are registered for fixing in our issue tracking system.

SLIDESJAVA-34541: Slide number changes to * in the generated PDF file.
SLIDESJAVA-34542: Table format issue in the generated PDF file.

Regarding the previously reported issues, following is the feedback of the development team.

SLIDESJAVA-34531: Text is overlapping because Aspose.Slides used “Gentium Basic” font for
rendering instead of “GE Inspira Pitch” font which is absent in
customer’s linux environment. Please install “GE Inspira Pitch” font or use
FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts(paths) where path contains “GE Inspira
Pitch” font.

SLIDESJAVA-34533: The missing tools image is “Webdings” font symbol. Please install “Webdings” font or use
FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts(paths) where path contains “Webdings”
font.

In case you need any further assistance, please do let us know.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Team,

Please provide the update on the mentioned issues.

Hi Sachin,

We have investigated the issues on our end. As far as issues SLIDESJAVA-34531 and SLIDESJAVA-34533 are concerned. They have occurred owing to missing fonts on your server machine. I suggest you to please copy the GE Inspira Pitch and Webdings fonts on your server end and load them externally by using FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts() method after loading the license call but before loading the presentation.

FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts(paths);
