PPT Export Chart Quality Issue

Hi !

We have just recently bought Aspose Slides reporting services license, where we are using Aspose PPT export functionality.

We have a issue with the chart quality in PPT . When we export a chart to PPT , the quality is not as expected and chart and words in the diagrams gets blurry. How can this be solved.

Please see the attached snapshots of 2 charts . Where PDFChartquality is what we are expecting and source data. while PPTExportchartquality shows the issue with Aspose PPT export functionality.

Adil

As requested by support team , the version for Aspose.Slides is 5.3.0

Hi Adil,

Thank you for inquiring Aspose.Slides.

I have observed the issue shared by you and like to request you to please share with us the RDL file with data source (DML+DDL SQL script), RPL export as explained in this documentation article, and generated PDF file. I will be able to proceed further, once the requested data will be shared by you.

Best Regards,

Hi ! Please find the attached RDL file with DDL SQL Scripts embedded for the issue submitted.

As due to client data confidentiality we cannot share RPL formatted file and the client data.

Hi Adil,

Thank you for sharing the data.

I have observed your comments and like to share with you that we understand your data security concerns that is why the attachments shared by the customers are accessible to Aspose Staff only, so you may share the requested data with us without any concern. Or you may share that privately with me, as explained over this documentation link because we would need the RPL file and data to sort out the issue.

Best Regards,

Hi !

We would like to have an online session to show you the error by sharing our screen either by Lync or WebEx or some other means.

Regards

Adil

Hi Adil,

I have observed the requirements shared and like to share that Aspose.Slides
exports charts, graphs, gauges and maps as images from any report.
Actually, this is not an issue or limitation on Aspose.Slides end as
they are exported as images from Reporting Services and not as objects. For this reason you are probably getting quality concern about the charts. I hope the shared information will be helpful. Please share, if I may help you further in this regard.

Many Thanks,

Hi,

I do not understand from your reply where the source of error will be. Exporting the charts from SSRS with standard SSRS functionality to PDF is working fine, no blur can be seen in the result.
So I am wondering why it does not work when exporting to PowerPoint using the Aspose functionality?
Can you suggest a way we can bypass this problem?

Regards,
Adil

Hi Adil,

I like to share that when charts in reports are exported to presentation, they are rendered as images in exported presentation and for that reason you may be observing blurring effect in charts. I request you to please share the RDL with data source, RPL export, PDF export and exported presentation file with us. I will share that with our product team for further investigation on our end.

Many Thanks,

Hi !
