Preserve image qualities when resizing images

Hi there,
I hope you are well,

When we resize Shape object using the following method, the image quality will be low in the generated document. Is this an expected behaviour or there is any way to keep image quality high?

void setWidth(double value)
void setHeight(double value)

  • Please attach the output Word file that shows the undesired behavior.
  • Please attach the expected output Word file that shows the desired behavior.
  • Please create a standalone console application ( source code without compilation errors ) that helps us to reproduce your problem on our end and attach it here for testing.

Is it possible to change the default resolution of the documents? If so, does this option help to have resized images with high resolution in the generated documents?

In the following link, it shows how to change default resolution for images in MS Word.

Unfortunately, Aspose.Words does not support the requested feature at the moment. However, we have logged this feature request as WORDSNET-19611 in our issue tracking system. You will be notified via this forum thread once this feature is available. We apologize for your inconvenience.

Please note that Aspose.Words mimics the behavior of MS Word. Could you please share the requested resources here for testing?
