Hi Irfan,

Thanks for contacting support.

I am pleased to share that Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports variety of input documents and converts them into PDF format. However can you please share some further details regarding the above requirement "Gives report in bar/pie graph ?"

·

mediatrendit:
Print (PS)

From above requirement, do you mean PostScript file ? If so is the case, then I am afraid the current release version of Aspose.Pdf for .NET does not support this feature. However for the sake of implementation, we already have logged this requirement in our issue tracking system as PDFNEWNET-20110. The development team is still working on supporting this feature and as soon as we have made some progress towards its implementation, we would be more than happy to update you with the status of a correction.

I am afraid currently Aspose.Pdf for .NET does not support the feature to convert PSD and EPS files into PDF format. However we already have logged the requirement of converting EPS files into PDF format as PDFNEWNET-11948 in our issue tracking system.

Please try using Aspose.Pdf for .NET to fulfil this requirement. For further information, please visit How to Convert an Image to PDF

Here are few requirement

  1. We should be able to create a custom template which consists of text box and grid . We should be able to bind it with the data source to fill the controls dynamically and create a pdf file as output.

  2. After we print this template we should be able to insert .doc or images to the pdf and we should be able to maintain the page numbers properly .

Do let me know if this is possible . from my side I am downloading the free version of Aspose.PDF for .NET and trying more items.

With Aspose.PDF for .NET I should be still be able to change the .extension given in the previous mail for e.g. .doc , .ppt , .xls to pdf ?

Please confirm

If possible please send me the code .

Regards
irfan

Hi Irfan,

Thanks for contacting support.

I am pleased to share that Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports the feature to integrate with data-source. You can read the contents of database and create a PDF file based over its contents. Please visit the following link for further details on Integrate Table with Database

mediatrendit:
2) After we print this template we should be able to insert .doc or images to the pdf and we should be able to maintain the page numbers properly .

  • Once the PDF file is generated, you can insert images in PDF file. Please visit the following link for more information on Add Image in an Existing PDF File
  • Now concerning to your requirement on inserting .doc file. Do you mean you need to add the pages of .DOC file into PDF document ? or you need to add Doc file as an attachment to PDF file or you need to add the pages of DOC file as watermark to PDF document. Please note that Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports the feature to add any file type as an attachment to PDF document. Please take a look over Add Attachment in a PDF Document
  • I am afraid it does not support the feature to add the pages of DOC file into PDF document. In order to accomplish this requirement, first you need to convert the pages of DOC file into PDF format using Aspose.Words for .NET and then insert/concatenate these pages with existing PDF file. For more information, please visit Concatenate PDF Files
  • In case you need to add the pages of DOC file as watermark to PDF file, then even in this case, first you need to convert DOC file into PDF format and then you can add the pages of newly created PDF file as watermark to existing PDF document. For further details, please visit Adding PDF Page Stamp in the PDF File
  • In order to keep track of number of pages in PDF file, please take a look over Get Number of Pages of a PDF File and in case you need to add page number was stamp/watermark in PDF file, please visit Add Page Number Stamp in a PDF File

I am afraid I am not entirely certain about this requirement. Do you need to convert .PPT, .XLS and .DOC files into PDF format using Aspose.Pdf for .NET ?

If so is the case, then I am afraid Aspose.Pdf for .NET does not support this feature. As shared earlier, you need to try using the specific products to convert particular file type into PDF format.

In the event of any further query, please feel free to contact. We are sorry for your inconvenience.
