Printing Issues with Aspose.Words!

Hi,

I have written a very basic app which simply opens a Word Document and prints it using the default printer.

I am using a Tiff Printer Driver as my default printer (to save on paper and ink while testing).

The problem is, some documents open and print, while others dont ..these just cause my app to hang! A second problem is that the print quality is terrible compared to printing directly from office.

I have written the app in .NET 2005 on WinXP SP2 using Aspose.Words 4.2.0.0. It makes no difference whether I print to my image driver or to a physical printer.

Anyone else experiencing this problem??

Regards,

~ Pravesh

Sorry, Aspose.Words.Viewer is in beta and we don't provide technical support for it as we are now working to release a new, much better, rendering engine on a completely different codebase. The release is planned in 1-2 months.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanx.. will be waiting for the release...

Hi<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

We are happy to tell you that the new Rendering Engine has replaced the “old Viewer Beta”. The Rendering Engine can print, save as images or draw onto .NET Graphics object any document page.

Please see Aspose.Words documentation to learn more about new features.

SaveToImage method renders document pages into images:

In additional, new Rendering engine allows you to convert Word document to PDF directly (without using Aspose.Pdf).

SaveToPdf method converts the whole document or selected pages to PDF.
