Dear Madames and Sirs,

we want to implement a custom SharePoint 2013 solution to generate PDF files with the following requirements:

  • SharePoint 2013 integrated
  • Input data as any combination of: SharePoint 2013 Wiki-Pages (including Text, Tables, Pictures), JPG, PNG or other Picture files, Word files, Excel files, PowerPoint files, PDF files
  • Logic: 1. User selects a combination of any of the above input data, 2. Application generates PDF file
  • Output data: one single PDF file containing all selected input data form above

Is any of your product capable of fulfilling this requirement? If so, which product and version would that be?

Thank you very much and I am look forward to your response.

Regards,
JensF

Hi Jens,

You can use Aspose.Words for SharePoint to convert Word files to PDF, Aspose.Cells to convert Excel files to PDF, Aspose.Slides to convert PowerPoint files to PDF. Remaining features (convert wiki pages and images etc. and merge PDF files) are supported by Aspose.Pdf for SharePoint.

The problem with the above mentioned solution is that only Aspose.Words and Aspose.Cells for SharePoint support SharePoint 2013. Aspose.Pdf and Aspose.Slides for SharePoint do not support SharePoint 2013 and new feature requests to support SharePoint 2013 for these APIs have been logged into our issue tracking system as PDFSHP-33223 and SLIDESSHP-33165 respectively. We will keep you updated on these issues in this thread.

Our .NET APIs support all of your required features. If you want to use our .NET APIs, you will have to build your own web parts using our APIs to support these features in your application.

Best Regards,

The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESSHP-33165) have been fixed in this update.
