Dear Aspose Support,
A customer of my try to read an MS-Project XML. He gets the exception ‘Project reading exception. Current XML element: ‘Project\Tasks\Task[4]\FreeSlack’.’ with in inner exception: ‘The input string has the wrong format.’
On analyse of the XML file I found duration values in E notation for the field ‘FreeSlack’. Sample:

1.3056e+06
1.3056e+06
1.3056e+06
We are using Aspose.Tasks 7.5.0. Is this a known issue? Has you any workarounds?

MS-Project XML is created by Merlin Project for iOS.
The import to MS-Project of the Merlin Project XML file works.

I have reproduced the scenario by using Aspose.Tasks for .NET 8.3.0 and have logged it in our bug tracking system under id:TASKS-34026 for further investigation by our product team and have linked this thread with the logged ticket. We shall notify you here once the feedback is received about this issue.
The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
