QR code OCR issues with 200 x 100 DPI FAX TIF IMAGE

Dear Sir,

We have got fax image TIF from our backend system and use Aspose to read the QR code on those faxes. We found that if we received fax with “fine mode” (200 x 100 DPI) fax tif image, Aspose cannot read the QR code correctly. However, Aspose can read the QR code with “Super Fine mode” (200 x 200 DPI) fax tif Image.

If we use mspaint to open 200 x 100 DPI fax image, it would become shorter length , then the QR code would become transformed. However, those fax image is fax system standard and it could be read collectly by fax tif viewer.

We have try to change the 200 x 100 DPI fax length to longer, then Aspose can read it correctly.
So I think Aspose would read the 200 x 100 DPI fax image like mspaint and not like fax tif viewer.
Aspose would read the QR code as the transformed one.

Enclosed the sample fax tif image for your testing. Thanks.

Thanks for contacting support.

Would you kindly share working TIFF image as well (i.e. 200 x 200 DPI) along with sample code snippet to read QR Code that you are using in your environment. We will test the scenario in our environment and address it accordingly.
