Questions on products

We are in the process of evaluating some PDF tools. After the testing on your trial versions we have a couple questions:

1)On you website http://www.aspose.com/categories/.net-components/aspose.pdf.kit-for-.net/default.aspx about the aspose pdf kit, you say “Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET has been merged into Aspose.Pdf for .NET. The separate Aspose.Pdf.Kit product will be discontinued in October 2011”. but from the downloaded trials they are still separated. The API for extracting text was not found in the Aspose.Pdf trial. My question is: does the current Aspose.pdf for .net include the functionality of extracting text from pdf?

2)In the trial of Aspose.Pdf.Kit, it only extracts several words, among some license statements, at the beginning of every pages. We are yet to see the result of the full extracted text among other objects in a rather complex PDF. Is there a way to make sure we will see all the text in the PDF?

Thank you!

Hello Johnny,

Thanks for your interest in our products.

The statement over Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET home page indicates that a separate version of Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET will no more be available for download after October2011. Currently it has been merged into Aspose.Pdf for .NET and you can use the latest release version of Aspose.Pdf for .NET to test the text extraction feature. Please download latest release version from Aspose.Pdf for .NET 6.1.0. For further information on how to extract text from PDF document using Aspose.Pdf for .NET, please visit

When using trial version, Aspose.Pdf for .NET has the limitation while extracting text from PDF documents. However in order to fully test our product, you may request a 30 days Temporary license. Please visit the following link for information on how to Get a temporary license

In case you encounter any problem or you have any further query, please feel free to contact. We apologize for your inconvenience.

Now I see the new API for text extraction. And will ask for temp license to test again. Thanks so much!
