Radar charts when saving to PDF

We’ve noticed a couple of issues with radar charts when saving as PDF. Generally the charts are flipped left/right, but sometimes they don’t appear at all. I’ve tried using Aspose-Cells 19.12, though the issue was initially found on an older version.radar.xlsx.pdf (38.1 KB)
radar.xls.pdf (53.1 KB)

@MD1928,

Thanks for the PDF files.

To evaluate your issue, we need your template Excel file(s). Could you zip the source XLS/XLSX file(s) and attach it here, we will check it soon.

Excel.zip (94.5 KB)
Here are the Excel files - the XLS file caused the flipped chart in the PDF, while the XLSX file didn’t show the chart

@MD1928,

Thanks for the template files.

I noticed both your mentioned issues using your template files to convert to PDF file format. I tested your scenario by converging both your files to PDF via Aspose.Cells. The following tickets are added to database for investigation and for fix:

  • CELLSJAVA-43088 - Radar chart is not rendered in output file in XLSX to PDF conversion
  • CELLSJAVA-43089 - Radar chart is flipped and axis values are not identical with the original chart in XLS to PDF conversion

We will look into the details of problem and try to figure these out soon.

Once we have an update on any of the issues, we will let you know.

We use Java rather than .NET. Is this fixed in the Java 20.1.1 release?
