Ransomware and Viruses

Hi,

We have a client who is using Aspose Word for C#, they are currently only using the library to programmatically open word documents (all formats) and then save as pdf file, will this process cause macros or embed viruses etc to run and infect the system?

Thanks for your inquiry. Aspose.Words does nothing with macros while document conversion to PDF. Moreover, Aspose.Words does not deal with Macros in document. However, the macros are preserved upon open and save Word document with Aspose.Words. Also, there is no way to run macros at the moment using Aspose.Words.
