Re: Aspose.Words PDF conversion adding carriage return line feed after each line

Hello,

I am using Aspose.Words for .net 17.2
Is it possible to disable this “Do not add line break” fonctionnality ?
When I compare the extracted text from the Pdf generated with using Winword and the same generated by Aspose, there is still those line jump that doesn’t match.
(MsWord version contains more line jump that the aspose one)

Thanks

Hi Philippe,

Thanks for being patient. After an initial analysis we have found that Aspose.Words currently does not export line breaks at all. They are generated according to text position, logical structure and other factors. To get better output please use PdfSaveOptions.ExportDocumentStructure option. This way Aspose.Words' output will be closer to MS Word output. We will keep you informed of further developments and let you know once this issue is resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Best regards,
