Re: object reference not set error on SaveAsTIFF

Hi Shahzad,

Thanks again for your response. I will review the samples you sent and get back if I have any more questions re watermarking.

On a side note when I run the demo on my localhost I can convert large PDF files to SWF without issue. I can also convert large files when running through your demo link

http://www.aspose.com/demos/.net-components/aspose.flash/csharp/pdf-to-swf.aspx

However then I try and convert PDFs greater then one page on my web server (IIS 6.0, ASP.NET 2.0) it errors out with: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have both Aspose.Flash.dll and Aspose.Pdf.Kit.dll referenced in the bin (same copies as on my local machine where it works).

It seems to fail on this line: converter.SaveAsTIFF(ms);

Code on web page is as above in previous thread.

URL is here: http://www.dubware.com/fo/PDF-to-Flash.aspx

Are you aware of anything that may be causing this?

Thanks again

Joe

Hi Joe,

As this issue is concerned with Aspose.Pdf.Kit, so I have moved this post to the related forum.

Moreover, I have tried to upload a multi-page file using the online sample you shared earlier, however I couldn’t notice the problem you mentioned, rather the page is not responding for long time.

Can you please share whether the file which is causing problem in your hosted application is the same file which works fine on your local system? Also, please share the problematic PDF with us along with the details of your hosting environment? Is it working in the medium trust level? Did you try to change the trust level in your application or on the server?

Please share the details with us so we would be able to test the issue at our end.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience.
Regards,
