We have a client that is requesting a read-only deck, but is running into two problems.
They have an issue with the popup window the gives the option to enter a password or select read-only, as they believe it will create confusion for the end user. Is there a way to create a read-only deck without this prompt?
Second, they are having problems saving the deck as anything but a PDF. I believe this is due to the fact that it’s being opened as a read-only presentation. Am I correct and is there any way around this?

I have observed the requirements shared by you and like to share that Aspose.Slides does generate the read only presentation. However, the popup dialog to enter password or select read only mode is feature of PowerPoint and Aspose.Slides has not control over that.
For your concerns related to exporting to PDF, please share the source presentation and generated PDF with us. I will investigate the issue further on my end to help you out.
