Read stamp with OCR font

Hi,

I'm trying to use your OCR tool to read a stamp which consists of some numbers (written with OCR-A font). Instead of returning the numbers in the stamp I get something like "e z? ^ e s e+ e& c". Do you know if I have to consider something special when doing this?

I tried to upload the image with the stamp, but always get a security warning. Is there another way to send you the image?

Hi Stefan,

Please zip the image file and try to upload and if it still fails, then you can upload your file to some free cloud sharing service (Google drive, Dropbox etc) and share the download link in the post.

Sorry, OCR-A font is not supported at the moment but an issue in this regard has been logged into our issue tracking system as OCR-31768. We will keep you updated on the progress of this issue in this thread.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
