Aspose.BarCode Product Family

We picked up Aspose.Barcode for .Net to buile a solution for reading our pre-barcoded documents. The barcodes are PDF417 and are currently being read by our scanning system however we cannot get the applet to read the barcodes. Are we missing some details in setting up intitial testing? The eval software did not have PDF417 so we purchased somewhat blind.

Just some more information. We are unable to get the BarCodeInPdf application (Aspose written application) to WRITE or READ pdf417 codeset barcodes. We have set the lic file in the app and set the drop down to pdf417…we get nothing. Other barcode software/hardware we currently have in our business processes can read and write the barcodes just fine. In fact and iPhone bar code reader could read the barcodes we are using.


What are we doing wrong with Aspose?

Thanks for your inquiry.

Please try the attached sample application and see if it generates a Pdf417 barcode to disk and also recognizes it. The result is displayed on screen.

If it generates and recognizes, comment out the generation part and try recognizing your images with it. If it fails, could you please post some sample images here which could not be recognized?
