Reading PDF Text

I am creating my own search engine using .Net and I want to be able to read the text from a PDF file. Can I read the text out of a PDF file with your component?

If not, do you know of another .Net component that I can do this with?

Does your component require that we have Adobe Acrobat installed on the server as well?

Thanks for your consideration.

Currently, Aspose.Pdf does not support readinging text from an existing PDF document.

We will support this function in the future.

I am not aware of any .Net components that can read text from a PDF file.

No. Our component does not require that you have Adobe Acrobat installed on the server.
