I have a problem with refreshing of pivot tables in Excel.
I have a template with a pivot table (see attachment template.xlsx). To filter the data, some dummy records are entered and the filter for the column “state” is set to “(empty) (en: blank)” and “final”.
If I fill the template with new data and I do the refresh of the pivot table with aspose, then first the old filter settings are displayed in the pivot table (see attachment filled_template_without_refresh1.png). After refreshing the data with Excel only the item “(empty) (en: blank)” is set (see attachment filled_template_without_refresh2.png). I think this should be the correct behaviour.
If I uncomment the rows 80 to 83 in my source code “fill_template.text”, the refresh will done by Aspose. But then incorrect values are selected in the filter (see attachment filled_template_withrefresh.png).
Could you please tell me how I can achieve the same behavior of refreshing in Aspose and Excel?

We have evaluated the presented scenario while using the latest version of Aspose.Cells for Java 8.8.2.7, and we are able to notice the said problem, that is; report filters get reset upon refreshing the Pivot Table. We have logged this incident as CELLSJAVA-41881 for further investigation. Please spare us little time to properly analyze the case and revert back with updates in this regard.
